ESGold: LIFTOFF! The Next Life-Changing
Junior Mining Stock?

Note that all hyperlinks (in blue text) open a new browser.

Although it requires a strong mindset, thick skin, infinite risk tolerance, and financial stability to tolerate losing money, the junior mining sector is notorious for producing lottery-winning profits for a select few.

On a junior mining stock’s trajectory to providing life-changing returns, many shareholders sell too soon. Instead of life-changing returns, the premature sellers learn a valuable lesson.

Speculation: Fueling Life-Changing Returns
on Junior Mining Stocks

When a junior mining stock catches the market’s interest, its stock price can skyrocket from pennies to dollars on speculation that it might have discovered the next big deposit.

A single news release can instantly put a junior mining stock on a life-changing trajectory.

Recent Examples of
Life-Changing Junior Mining Stocks

The examples below occurred during the junior mining sector’s lengthy and painful bear market. On the other hand, a bull market typically generates higher returns as well as more life-changing examples.

Garibaldi Resources went from ~$0.20 to ~$5.25 in just a few months in 2017!

Emerita Resources went from ~$0.25 to ~$4.14 in just 6 months in 2021!

Oroco Resources went from ~$0.25 to ~$3.66 in just 12 months from 2020 to 2021!

Tudor Gold went from ~$0.38 to ~$4.51 in less than 5 months in 2020!

NGEx Minerals went from ~$0.61 to ~$7.35 in ~22 months from 2021 to 2023!

Although not a pennies to dollars example, Filo Mining was worth $0.27 on September 6, 2017.

Filo Mining went from ~$2 to ~$26.58 within 16 months, from 2021 to 2022!

The saying is, “What goes up must come down.” Unfortunately, this statement applies to most of the wild price fluctuations that junior mining stocks experience. In some rare cases, a junior mining stock maintains its gains over the long-term due to a buyout or having made a significant discovery.

Great Bear Resources went from ~$0.50 to a buyout price of $29 in about 3.5 years, from 2018 to early 2022!

ESGold

ESGold’s stock chart looks extremely bullish and has the earmarks of a pennies to dollars move in the making.

Similar to the pennies to dollars examples above, ESGold has been experiencing price volatility, accumulation, and an increase in daily trading volume.

On April 7, 2025, a single aggressive buyer pushed the price up from C$.28 to C$0.51 in one trading session!

Fueling ESGold’s Momentum

Speculation about a new discovery, results from drilling, the economics of a project, deposit size, and a buyout at a high premium are among the major catalysts that create the most momentum in junior mining stocks.

In ESGold’s case, there are numerous things that have been fueling its recent upward momentum and there are many more to come, which can easily make it the next junior mining stock to provide life-changing returns!

The following currently pending near-term catalysts can maintain ESGold’s momentum or accelerate it:

  • Results from the Ambient Noise Tomography (will provide a confirmation of the theory that historical production only mined the “tip of the iceberg”)
      • Soon to be released!
  • Start of gold & silver production
      • Expected before the end of 2025!
  • Updates on construction & milestones achieved as it moves toward the start of production

The following potential catalysts can also maintain ESGold’s momentum or accelerate it:

  • Drilling the 1.1 million tonne near-surface historical resource grading 3.6 g/t gold & 29 g/t silver g/t
      • Block 9 of the historical resource, containing ~1,220 metric tonnes, has a gold equivalent grade of ~53.22 g/t & lies between 4 & 8 metres in depth!
  • Drilling the new target(s) found with the ANT survey
  • ANT survey on other previously identified non-drilled targets
  • New discoveries on the 13,116-hectare land package
      • 2024 – following extensive review of systematic geological surveys, geophysical & geochemical analyses, & preliminary exploration activities that indicate significant potential for mineralization within the region, ESGold strategically increased its land by ~1024%, making it the largest land package owned by a mining company in the Montauban region
      • In 2015, a VTEM identified 22 geophysical anomaly drill targets – most have never been drilled yet!
      • Highlights of selected historical grab samples include 17.14% zinc, 483 g/t silver & 14.96% zinc & 1.92% lead (hyperlink)
      • Select gold & silver grab samples include the following:
      • ESGold surface grab samples
Source: ESGold Corporate Presentation Q2 2025
  • Updated PEA to include a portion or all the historical resource
      • The last time & only time the project was mined, it was among the lowest-cost gold producer in Quebec, which is the 2nd largest gold producer in Canada
  • Additional low-capital expenditure near production-ready projects
      • The government of Quebec owns hundreds of abandoned mining operations, & some are said to be more lucrative than the Montauban (difficult to acquire, but ESGold has a foot in the door once it succeeds in putting the Montauban into production). In a video, ESGold said they’ve been eyeing a few projects & hope to acquire some when possible
  • Substantial increase in revenue once production includes the high-grade gold blocks of the historical resource
      • Gold equivalent grade is exponentially higher than in the tailings.
  • Revenue from polymer construction material
  • Revenue from the sale of carbon offset credits (if possible)
  • Analyst coverage
  • Paying dividends
      • Anticipated after the 1st full year of production
  • Listing on a major, more reputable securities exchange
  • Higher gold & silver prices – increase in revenue
  • Speculative money flowing to quality juniors in anticipation of the next life-changing mining bull market
      • Junior mining stocks have historically provided the highest returns during mining bull markets. The best time to invest in a junior mining stock is during a bear market when its price is at its lowest and before the bull market starts!
  • Mining bull market
      • Although the tide raises all ships, the quality juniors with the right ingredients for success deliver the best returns

Speculation on ESGold’s
“Blue-Sky” Potential

Although there are numerous catalysts, the Montauban’s “blue-sky” potential is the one that can fuel the most upwards momentum!

Although the “blue-sky” potential of a junior mining stock is typically very speculative in nature, in some rare cases, thorough research and successfully putting all the pieces of the puzzle together reduces the amount of “blind speculation,” thus increasing the odds of success.

Numerous historical hints, as emphasized in T$R reports, show that additional discoveries are likely to be made and that the Montauban’s “blue sky” potential is not based on the usual “blind speculation” that is typically associated with junior mining stocks.

After putting together all the pieces of the puzzle, I believe what was historically mined is only a fraction of a potentially huge deposit (the current value of what was historically mined using recent metal prices is ~C$1.6 billion).

The soon-to-be-released ANT survey results will provide a first glimpse of what might lie beneath the historical mine, which was never explored under it!

Speculation on
Broken Hill Type Deposit

The Broken Hill deposit in Australia is the world’s largest source of lead, zinc, and silver. Although gold was not its primary metal, it was an important by-product. Despite starting production in 1885 and its historical production estimated to be $100 billion, it is still in production today!

There are numerous parallels between the Broken Hill deposit and the Montauban. The presence of rhodonite, revealed in a recent sampling at the Montauban, is one of the unique key indicators of a Broken Hill system.

The soon-to-be-released ANT survey has the potential to spark widespread speculation that the Montauban is a potential Broken Hill-type deposit.

T$R’s Speculation
on ESGold

I predict that ESGold’s stock price will trade between $3 to $5 during the next six months if production starts by the end of 2025 and from $10 to $15 in the subsequent years, contingent upon the anticipated continued increase in the prices of gold and silver.

These price projections do not consider any significant discoveries on ESGold’s extensive 13,116-hectare land package in the Montauban mining district of Quebec.

Given that VMS deposits are found in clusters and Canada contains some of the largest VMS deposits in the world and are predominantly found in Quebec, it is plausible that other VMS deposits may exist on ESGold’s massive strategic land package surrounding the historic Montauban mine.

The Brunswick No. 12, Canada’s largest VMS deposit (~230 million tonnes), is found in Bathurst, New Brunswick, which is also home to the country’s largest VMS mining camp. The Bathurst Mining Camp reportedly hosts 46 deposits, of which 25 of them contain reserves of over 1 million tonnes.

A significant discovery, or the cumulative effect of several smaller discoveries, could lead to unimaginable wealth for most shareholders of ESGold.

ESGold’s business plan, characterized by minimal capital expenditure and substantial profit margins, can be easily replicated using one of the numerous abandoned mining sites in the province of Quebec or elsewhere.

Despite the absence of a significant discovery, I still believe that ESGold will prove to be a life-changing investment for some current shareholders who possessed strong conviction at the right time.

Despite my tireless efforts to provide research to back my life-changing investment thesis on ESGold from 2022, the market remained ignorant, and the stock price remained flat over an extended period of time, providing strategic buyers a chance of a lifetime buying opportunity!

Criteria for the
Best Returns in the
Junior Mining Sector

In general, the junior mining stocks that yield the highest returns are those that have the right news flow, effectively promote themselves, and strategically execute their business strategy with the goal of creating shareholder value as efficiently and aggressively as possible.

According to some of the basic criteria I employ for maximizing returns in a bull market, as outlined in the article titled “Metals Bull Market – The Tide Raises All Ships but Some Junior Mining Stocks Provide Lottery Ticket Winnings,” ESGold currently almost satisfies all my criteria, and the one it currently doesn’t (aggressive drilling), it will in due time.

Excerpt from T$R’s article titled “Metals Bull Market – The Tide Raises all Ships but Some Junior Mining Stocks Provide Lottery Ticket Winnings”

ESGold excels at taking the best interests of its shareholders into consideration. Despite the frustration, the recent delays were directly attributable to prioritizing shareholder interests. The company could have easily commenced production at the Montauban some time ago by pursuing a substantial and highly dilutive equity financing while the stock price was stagnant at the C$0.10 level.  The company opted to postpone the start of production while it sought the best financing options to maintain its tight share structure. Due to the company’s efforts, better financing terms were obtained, resulting in significantly less share dilution.

ESGold also made sure to allocate shares from its recent financing to stronger, long-term investors. Although the public share float is said to be approximately 25% of the outstanding shares, I believe this number has decreased following two substantial equity financings that were bought by strong-handed, long-term investors.

Given the company’s commitment to shareholder interests, ESGold is anticipated to emerge as a gold and silver producer with a share structure of fewer than 100 million shares outstanding, which is ridiculously low for a junior producer.

ESGold’s tight share structure and low public share float will result in higher stock prices going forward as it successfully executes its business plan.

ESGold distinguishes itself from its peers, as I have noted in other articles. It possesses the right narrative and catalysts to appeal to the market and attract buyers. Regarding marketing, ESGold has excelled in professionally marketing itself and keeping shareholders informed of the company’s progress.

Although mining is regarded as a major source of pollution and has been the cause of many environmental issues, everything we use on a daily basis is possible due to mining. ESGold is one of the rare mining companies that is truly environmentally focused on clean mining.

The company’s business strategy concentrates on assets that can generate revenue in the near future and meet ESG standards. ESGold’s Montauban project involves processing historical toxic tailings that contain gold and silver, neutralizing them, and putting the environment back to its natural state. In doing so, it will be generating significant revenue and creating tremendous shareholder value for its shareholders.

ESGold has all the criteria and ingredients that I believe are crucial for delivering some of the best returns in the mining sector.

Why I Bought & Plan to
Own it Long-Term

In a nutshell, I became a shareholder of ESGold in late 2021 because I strongly believe it will be a life-changing investment.

My initial research on ESGold, published in January 2022, concluded that the company has the potential of achieving a C$1 billion market valuation in the right bull gold market, which is anticipated to occur over the next few years. Despite the numerous milestones needed to achieve this, I am confident that the company has the right business strategy and, most importantly, the right team to successfully execute it.

ESGold Corp The Shareholder Report T$R
Excerpt from T$R first report on ESGold on 25 January 2022

One of the things I was looking for was a gold and silver stock that would yield some of the best returns in the sector because of an impending mining bull market, particularly for gold and silver mining equities.

In addition, I was wanted a stock that would likely rebound quickly after a market meltdown of the US stock exchange’s longest bull market in history.

Although the stock market exchanges continued to reach new record highs following years of warnings that a meltdown was imminent by market “experts,” the current bull market will eventually come to a tragic ending.

During turbulent times, gold becomes a safe haven for investors. Despite initially being a victim of a general market meltdown, the price of gold usually quickly recovers as investors seek refuge.

The price of gold is expected to see an unparalleled bull market run because of the  current political and economic issues that will eventually trigger the next financial crash. Higher gold and silver prices could result in record profits for gold and silver mining companies, resulting in significantly higher valuations, especially if it leads to a mining bull market.

In addition to offering the leverage for a gold bull market and the protection for a market crash that I was seeking, I am convinced that ESGold has all the ingredients to become life-changing.

Discussion

Depending on the direction, extreme price volatility, as seen in all of the stock charts above, can be beneficial or detrimental to one’s investment portfolio.

In my opinion, the current trading pattern and its upcoming upward catalysts, along with potential future ones, are exactly what ESGold needs to become the next junior mining company that provides a life-changing pennies to dollars move.

Unlike the majority of juniors who have gone through such life-changing explosive runs but ultimately lost their gains, ESGold would likely be able to keep most, if not all, of its gains once it becomes a highly profitable producer of gold and silver, which is expected to commence by the end of 2025. As the company successfully executes its aggressive growth strategy, it would also justify much higher valuations.

When a stock price drops after a significant, explosive rise, investors often find themselves questioning whether they should have sold their shares, especially after seeing some potential “paper capital gains” vanish.

My long-term approach to investing in undiscovered junior mining stocks has exposed me to significant volatility over the last few decades. I have also seen all of my potential “paper capital gains” disappear while I waited for my investment thesis to be validated and the significant payout that comes with it.

I invest in undiscovered stocks with catalysts that have the potential to become life-changing investments. Given the extensive research I conduct and ability to identify life-changing stocks, which don’t occur frequently, I usually hold onto my shares as long as I remain confident that I am correct or until my investment thesis has been invalidated—buy right, sit tight!

Knowing and thoroughly understanding what one owns is the best approach for staying focused and increasing the odds of success throughout the volatile times when a junior mining company is attracting the interest of the market. It is impossible to overstate the significance of carrying out in-depth due diligence as well as continuously doing research.

In my personal experience, my success increases as I own fewer stocks and devote more time to research. Every news release or event that affects the company, whether directly or indirectly, should cause one to question and reexamine their research.

Since I have the utmost confidence in my ability to find the next life-changing junior mining stocks and I have strong conviction about what I own, I only own two junior mining stocks.

“Diversification is protection against ignorance. It makes little sense if you know what you are doing.” – Warren Buffett

Conclusion

ESGold’s strategic focus on the Montauban project and its aggressive business growth strategy, combined with its commitment to shareholder interests and environmentally responsible mining practices, positions it extremely well for success.

In addition to gold and silver production at the Monatuabn, if the current bull run in gold experiences increased momentum and its “blue-sky” exploration potential leads to a major discovery, it would still likely be life-changing for new investors that soon become shareholders prior to some of ESGold’s catalysts occurring.

Early indications suggest that my life-changing prediction is accurate, and the current pending catalysts and near-term potential catalysts have the potential to confirm my prediction.

The only change since my initial 2022 prediction that ESGold could be life-changing is my increased certainty that it will!

If I am correct, this is not a stock that one wants to sell prematurely, resulting in regret and a lesson learned instead of a life-changing return.

In conclusion, I believe ESGold presents the most compelling investment opportunity within the junior mining sector, characterized by its likely potential for life-changing returns driven by upcoming catalysts and a favourable gold market environment.
